Domaine de Rochebonne is a former family estate in Saint-Just-Luzac, Charente-Maritime, 10 minutes from the beaches and the Île d'Oléron. Johanna and I live here and welcome you ourselves.
Set in a large walled park of 13,000 m² with mature trees, the estate offers an 8-bedroom château with its own heated private pool and 8 independent holiday cottages, from a studio for 2 to a house for 10. All share the park, the heated pool (1 May to 1 October), the children's play areas, the pétanque court and table tennis.
Whether you come as a couple, a family or a group of friends, you book your own cottage and it's yours. And for larger gatherings — family reunions, weddings, seminars — the cottages can be combined, right up to exclusive use of the whole estate for 68 guests.

Domaine de Rochebonne is located in Saint-Just-Luzac (17320), in Charente-Maritime. By car: 25 min from Rochefort, 35 min from La Rochelle, 20 min from Royan. By train: La Rochelle TGV station (35 min) or Rochefort station (25 min). By plane: La Rochelle – Île de Ré airport (35 min). Free parking for over 20 vehicles is available on site.

The rate includes: accommodation in a fully equipped cottage (kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, oven), private garden with furnished terrace and barbecue, access to the heated swimming pool, the 13,000 m² park, playgrounds and sports facilities (pétanque, table tennis, badminton, football pitch), Wi-Fi and free parking. Optional extras: bed linen kit (€6 to €8), towel kit (€3/pers.), pool towel (€4). Tourist tax is not included.

Yes, pets are welcome all year round at Domaine de Rochebonne. The enclosed 13,000 m² park provides a safe space for your companions. Dog-friendly beaches are located nearby. We simply ask that you keep your pets supervised and clean up after them in common areas.

The main pool of the estate is heated and open from 1 May to 1 October. The château also has its own heated private pool. Outside this period, the pools are closed.

Our "Super Flexible" policy: cancellation 35 days or more before arrival → 100% refund of the deposits paid. Cancellation between 25 and 34 days → 50% refund. Cancellation less than 25 days before arrival → no refund. Payment is made in three instalments: 35% deposit at booking, 30% at 60 days, and the balance 30 days before arrival.

The minimum stay varies by season. July–August: 7 nights minimum, arrivals on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Spring and September: 3 to 4 nights. October to early May: cottages are rented from 10 nights (mid-term formula, ideal for remote work or business trips), the château from 1 night. Reduced rates apply to long stays.

Bed linen and towels are available as an option, handled by a professional laundry service. Bed linen kit: €6 (90 cm bed), €7 (140 cm bed) or €8 (180 cm bed). Towel kit: €3 per person. Pool towel: €4. You can also bring your own. The "beds made on arrival" option is available on request.
