Charming two-bedroom cottage located in the small holiday village of Domaine de Rochebonne. It comprises a living room, a kitchen, a bedroom, a bathroom, and a private garden equipped with garden furniture and a barbecue. Domaine de Rochebonne boasts a large park and a large communal swimming pool with children's play areas, all just 10 minutes from the beaches. Exceptional low-season offers for stays of 3 nights or more. Up to 40% discount. Details below.
The heated pool is not very busy as we have a maximum capacity of 40 people, and is often empty in the morning and afternoon when everyone goes to enjoy the beaches and the region. So there are rarely many people at the pool and often there is nobody there due to everyone's schedules.

To explore the region we do recommend having a car as the public transport in the immediate area is not very frequent. There is public transport by bus from St Just-Luzac which can take you to nearby towns including Rochefort, Royan, Saintes, Marennes and La Rochelle. In Rochefort, Royan, Saintes and La Rochelle there are mainline train stations where you can catch the local trains and the TGV. The closest international airports are La Rochelle which is 45 Minutes away and Bordeaux which is 1 hour away. The closest motorway exit is in Saintes which is 35 minutes away

Most wonderful time, family of four
We've just arrived home from a week in Le Chai 2 bedroom cottage (family of four) and had the most wonderful time.
Charming cottage, absolute highlight
Staying at Domaine de Rochebonne was an absolute highlight of our trip to southwest France. The cottage itself was charming and full of character.
Site magnifique, équipements au top
Le site est magnifique, bien entretenu, les maisonnettes agréables, les équipements loisirs au top.
2ème réservation, toujours très bien
2ème réservation dans ce domaine, toujours très bien. Les propriétaires sont très arrangeants.
Confortable, piscine en bonus
Logement confortable, propre avec tout ce qu'il faut pour un séjour très agréable. Un grand parc privé permet aux enfants de jouer librement et la piscine est un gros bonus. Accès très facile aux villes voisines, la plage etc. Nous reviendrons très prochainement.
Bien équipé, idéalement placé
Le logement et l'équipement mis à disposition sont vraiment très bien (machine à laver, petit jardin avec espace barbecue, lave-vaisselle...). Le logement est idéalement placé (proche de l'île d'Oléron, de l'océan, de commerces). Endroit vraiment calme et propice aux vacances et au repos. Nous recommandons !
Lieu sympa, bon rapport qualité/prix
Lieu très sympa, des maisonnettes avec du charme, le propriétaire et le gardien sont toujours disponibles. La piscine est chauffée. Rapport qualité/prix très bien.

adapte pour familles avec enfants
August 2019 Gite 7 · 2 bedroom cottage, pool, nearby beach Le domaine a beaucoup de potentiel et est tout à fait adapté pour des familles avec enfants (piscine, balançoire, bac à sable, ...). En revanche, l'intérieur du gîte n°7 est décevant et ne justifie pas le prix : état de la literie (obligés d'acheter des oreillers propres), propreté générale moyenne à notre arrivée, vétusté de beaucoup d'équipements, coupures d'eau quotidiennes, etc. Christine s'est montré à notre écoute.
