Le Pressoir, as its name suggests, housed the estate's wine press when wine was made there. Today it is one of our largest gîtes: 3 bedrooms for 8 people, ideal for a large family, two families travelling together, or a group of friends who want to stay under the same roof.
Inside, there's a large, spacious living room with satellite TV, a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, oven, stovetop, microwave, washing machine, and complete set of dishes), three bedrooms, and a bathroom. The first bedroom has a king-size bed (180 cm), the second a double bed (140 cm), and the third four single beds (90 cm) – perfect for children. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout.
Outside, your private garden with garden furniture and barbecue. The space allows for dining with a large group without feeling cramped.
Le Pressoir is part of the Domaine de Rochebonne, our former family estate now a holiday resort. A maximum of 9 families can stay on the grounds at any one time, within a walled park of 13,000 m² entirely car-free. Amenities include a shared heated swimming pool open 24/7 from May 1st to October 1st, a wooden fort, a sandbox, swings, badminton, a football pitch, and a pétanque court. Pets are welcome (supplement of €15 per stay).
Practical information: bakery 800m walk, butcher 1.4km, village restaurants 5 minutes away. Beaches 10 minutes by car, bridge to Île d'Oléron 8km, Royan 24km, La Rochelle 55km. We live on site and will welcome you and give you a tour upon arrival.

To explore the region we do recommend having a car as the public transport in the immediate area is not very frequent. There is public transport by bus from St Just-Luzac which can take you to nearby towns including Rochefort, Royan, Saintes, Marennes and La Rochelle. In Rochefort, Royan, Saintes and La Rochelle there are mainline train stations where you can catch the local trains and the TGV. The closest international airports are La Rochelle which is 45 Minutes away and Bordeaux which is 1 hour away. The closest motorway exit is in Saintes which is 35 minutes away
